Mythology & Religion Trivia
A trivia pack on the gods, heroes and beliefs that have shaped human storytelling. Greek and Roman mythology do most of the lifting, with Norse, Egyptian and Hindu pantheons featuring throughout, and the world's major religions covered at general-knowledge level.
Start a Mythology quiz →The mythologies
Greek: the twelve Olympians, the Titans, the Trojan War and the heroes (Heracles, Theseus, Perseus, Odysseus). Roman: the same gods under different names, plus Romulus and Remus and the foundation legends. Norse: Odin, Thor, Loki, Freya, the nine realms, Ragnarök and the Eddas. Egyptian: Ra, Osiris, Isis, Anubis, the afterlife and the Book of the Dead.
Hindu mythology (Vishnu, Shiva, Brahma, the Ramayana and Mahabharata) and a touch of Celtic, Mesopotamian and Aztec mythology round out the picture.
World religions
Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Sikhism and the smaller-but-historically-important faiths. Founders, holy books, sacred sites, festivals and the basic theological concepts at general-knowledge level. No theological-essay-level questions.
The pack stays respectful — questions ask about facts (which book, which founder, which festival) rather than making any value judgements.
Frequently asked questions
Is the religion content respectful?
Yes — factual questions only (texts, founders, festivals). No comparative-theology debates.
Greek or Roman names?
Both — questions specify which mythology so there's no confusion.
Is Norse mythology pop-culture-heavy (Marvel Thor, etc.)?
The pack uses the actual mythology, not the Marvel adaptation. Marvel's Thor lives in the superheroes pack.
How many players?
Up to six per room.
