Movies & TV Trivia

Movies & TV is one of Sumbo’s four packs — a fast, multiplayer trivia game where you race your friends to name a film or show from a handful of quick clues.

How the Movies & TV pack plays

Each round, Sumbo fires four to six short fragments about one film or TV show — a character, a setting, a famous line, a release year, a director. They land a couple of seconds apart, and the first player to type the title wins the round.

Recognise it from the very first fragment? Guess straight away — you do not have to wait for the rest. Close spellings are accepted, so you will not lose a round to a typo.

What is in the pack

The pack spans blockbusters, classic films, animated favourites, prestige drama and long-running sitcoms — the kind of titles a roomful of people will all know.

Nothing is obscure on purpose: every answer is something most players will recognise the moment the right clue lands. You do not need to be a film buff to keep up.

A great game for a group

Because everyone guesses at the same time and the clues come fast, a Movies & TV match is loud and quick. It works passed around a room or over a video call.

One person creates a room, shares the code, and up to six people play from their own phones — no accounts, no downloads, just a link.
